Placuna placenta<\/h1>\n

Les <\/span>Placuna placenta<\/span><\/em> sont de petits coquillages \u00e0 la translucidit\u00e9 nacr\u00e9e, collect\u00e9s sur une plage malaisienne de Langkawi. Sur ces disques lunaires, une photographie parfois rehauss\u00e9e de pigments est transf\u00e9r\u00e9e, dans une autre voie d\u2019exploration de la transparence et de la lumi\u00e8re. Parfois accompagn\u00e9s d\u2019un dispositif lumineux les transformant en petites veilleuses, ils composent des sc\u00e8nes oniriques marines, urbaines ou foresti\u00e8res. M\u00e9taphore de nos souvenirs, la composition en mille-feuilles de ces coquillages combine une apparente fragilit\u00e9 et une grande r\u00e9sistance : la finesse et la transparence de ce feuilletage min\u00e9ral rec\u00e8le en effet une solidit\u00e9 telle qu\u2019ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s, en Inde et aux Philippines, comme substitut du verre pour les fen\u00eatres des maisons, leur nom anglais de<\/span> windowpane oyster<\/span><\/em> en portant l\u2019\u00e9cho. Plus r\u00e9cemment, le petit bivalve a suscit\u00e9 l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat du MIT dans le cadre de recherches autour de blindages transparents. Fragiles et r\u00e9sistants comme la m\u00e9moire.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
